Is FormField a GoCanvas replacement?
For equipment inspections, yes. If you need general-purpose forms (customer surveys, HR forms, etc.), GoCanvas might still be a better fit. FormField is purpose-built for equipment and asset inspections.
How does the AI nameplate capture work?
Point your phone camera at the equipment nameplate. The AI identifies manufacturer, model, serial number, voltage, capacity, and other specs. Data populates the corresponding form fields. You verify and continue.
What if the nameplate is damaged or faded?
The AI handles most challenging nameplates, but heavily damaged plates may need manual entry. Even then, you're only typing what the camera couldn't read - not the whole thing.
Can I import my GoCanvas forms?
We can help migrate your inspection forms during onboarding. Most GoCanvas forms translate directly, though some may be simplified to take advantage of AI capture.
